The average shaft in Poland is 750m deep, and the miners work there everyday in 30ºC (86ºF).
And did you realized that the total length of all mining galleries in Poland accounts for 4,500km – as much as the distance between Lisbon (Portugal) and Moscow (Russia). Each year the total length of galleries is extended for another 350km.
